DESCRIPTION
DNA PuriPrep-S kit enables quick and simple total DNA extraction and purification (genomic, mitochondrial) from biological fluids (blood, urine, serum, plasma, cord blood, cephalorraquideal fluid) and free cells (bone marrow, cultured cells, throat, urethral and cervical swabs and foreskin curettage). It is compatible with the use of anticoagulant agents such as heparin, sodium citrate and EDTA.
A pure, protein free DNA is obtained which is suitable for PCR, Southern blotting and restriction analysis. The final product, eluted from a mini column, can be directly applied to PCR or kept at -20ºC. Due to low handling, most are fragments of 20-30 kpb, although they can reach over 50 kpb.
The whole process demands no more than 30-35 minutes and does not require organic solvents or phenol.
CONSERVATION
DNA Puriprep S-kit is transported at room temperature. The protease is included in the box. Once received, keep at 4°C.
