History

Inbio Highway® was born in 1998 as a start-up by a team of Argentinian biotechnologists and molecular biologists led by Dr. Alberto Parma in the city of Tandil, Province of Buenos Aires. Our drive was the need to have an alternative to imported products thanks to the development of molecular biology reagents.

In 2002 we became a family-owned company strongly committed to provide solutions for local scientific research including high quality reagents together with technical support and stock availability.

We have our own laboratory which includes R&D, production and quality control areas and through which we launch new products to the market every year.

As time went by, we have received support from private and public sectors such as the Ministry of Science, Technology and Productive Innovation, Ministry of Production (seed funding 2016), Ministry of Industry (SEPYME) and the Municipality and University of the Center of the Province of Buenos Aires (UNICEN) in Tandil.

In 2015 we became INBIO HIGHWAY SA achieving presence at the national level. Our product line provides solutions to seed companies and suppliers, research national facilities like CONICET, INTA and private diagnosis and research laboratories.

As of 2018, when Tandil Municipality and UNICEN signed a mutual agreement and launched an exports drive program we were selected, among other companies. Thus, we were able to reinforce one of our company targets: enter international markets.
