DESCRIPTION
Agarose (A0101) is recommended for the resolution of DNA small fragments (10-1200 pb) and PCR products. Its resolution capacity is similar to that of polyacrylamide gels.
It has good gel clarity, which facilitates visualization even in high concentrations. This agarose has less gel strength than standard agarose, that is why no less than 2,5% is the recommended percentage.
In order to increase resolution capacity of small fragments, the use of TBE buffer is recommended plus cooling gels to 4-8 °C for 30 min before use.
